Do I have grounds to sue my doctor?

My dermatologist gave me Bactrim and I have Hypothyroidism. This morning I broke out in a skin rash and after doing some research discovered that people with thyroid conditions should NEVER take Bactrim. I don't think he even looked at my file! Do I have grounds to sue??
