Although he is a "big guy" (6 ft. 2 in., 280 lb), he still eats like he's a high school linebacker. As the new dr (neurologist) is going over her medical history, I asked her could her headaches have any thing to do with her horrible hand writing (that is slooowly improving). after doing a complete neurological exam, she states that my daughter is a bit weaker on her right side, (she is right handed) goes into telling me the head ache meds that she is putting her on, then says " she didn't tip toe as a baby did she?". Help! Why is my Sharp TV making noise and losing sound?

Recently I purchased a new HDTV and when I turned it on there was a loud ticking sound and the sound was distorted. Sometimes there would be no sound whatsoever. I returned the new TV for other reasons. When I watched my old TV the ticking sound was loud (just as it was with the new one), but I could play my DVD and my Tivo without a problem. If I transferred a program from my other Tivo or, if the program was recorded when the ticking had stopped, most of the time I could watch that program without any distortion. Then, I found that if I turned the cable box off I could watch my Tivo and play the DVD without any ticking or anything. They even installed a brand new cable box and as soon as the cable guy left the same thing happened, so it just cannot be the cable box. So, what is going on with Satellite service? I have DirecTV, but I'm beginning to think its not the DirecTV. Could it be the coax or other wires? What troubleshooting should I do? I think that Christianity(most religions in general) allows some people to not think rationally. Without rationality a mentally ill persons perspectives cannot be helped. You can't really expect religious leaders and officials to understand psychology fully when they aren't educated to help the sick. I was raised as a christian and now suffer with depression. About bottle fed cats?

i have a bottle-fed spayed female cat who is about 4� years old. she eats EVO dry food from the health food store, which has no grain in it. a month or so ago she started fur mowing, which is a form of self mutilation where they systematically chew their fur off down to the skin. i had not heard of this condition until my cat developed it, and i've not been able to find definitive answers to this problem. even the vet took a wait-and-see approach because i don't think he really could pinpoint the cause. we had a very cold winter this past year, which forced me to spend a lot of time in the house. as spring approached, i began to spend quite a bit of time outdoors, working in my yard. this was about the time she started the fur mowing. i've wondered as of late if this could be caused by separation anxiety as this cat truly considers me to be her mother and she sticks to me like glue when i'm in the house. (she is strictly an indoor cat). other than that, allergies could be the cause but i can't think of anything that's changed in her environment. at this point, it also may have become habitual and i'm considering getting her shaved, or a lion cut, to break the cycle of overgrooming. any information would be greatly appreciated as she otherwise has the most beautiful, shiny coat. i am truly perplexed!!

This is a very difficult situation to be in. It sounds like you are already doing everything you can do. You can not be any good to the child if you are in jail. If you fight this and are sent to jail for not complying with the visitation order, who will take care of your niece during this time? I think you should see about getting the child in to see a child psychologist. They are very good at determining if there has been any abuse. Talk with your lawyer about supervised visits for the mother. What is your lawyer saying that you should do? This is a bit extreme, but is there any way to set up video cameras, maybe put one on the bag that you send with your niece when she goes over there? If any abuse is caught on video tape then a court certainly wouldn't allow her to go over there again. Unfortunately this puts your niece at risk of being abused yet again, and that isn't the best solution either. You can always take pictures of EVERYTHING. Take pictures before and after visits. I think if I were in this situation I'd find out for sure what will happen if you don't send her to the mother's house. Ask your lawyer what will happen. Ask social services what will happen. Ask them about supervised visits or maybe an unexpected drop-in while the child is there. I hope this situation can be resolved in a way that works best for all parties involved, especially for this little girl. It seems as though our system fails us sometimes and it is extremely frustrating.

here's a thought, what if all the leader's of the world were women, and the men supported what they said, and i think we could get several things accomplished without war, because we don't like to feel the pain of children losing their fathers and women being without husbands more than we care who makes the most money on oil, and think we wouldn't share the love of all things good with the men to protect us from certain disasters that happen naturally without having to create our own? and i think women have been overlooked as having equal authority as far back as it goes almost for most people, and places, and even Jesus said that women should be given more authority, and you want to know why? because if you have sit down and listen to a group of women discuss issues you will see us go from what do you think of giving so and so a time out because he cannot get along to get along, (and have the men enforce it), to the weather, and does everyone have enough food, and clothes, and heat to make it through the winter, to what are you having for dinner, and is aunt mae feeling better and make sure she has enough help while she gets her rest to how are we going to get the kids to practice, and get all these different issues organized, enforced, find men to help when we can't always handle it, and accomplished in a matter of 30 minutes while eating lunch, while the men at the next table are still arguing over the best fishin, and wonder if billy bob really caught as big a fish as he said, before it got away, and talk and argue about nothing else, and doubt, and not even figure the best fishin, in 30 minutes..so all i m saying, is honestly things can only get better if we flip some equal authority to the women to lead, and the men to enforce what we agree on for the love of all things good..and blessed are the peacemaker's we will be called children of God..so this is a little input on what i think about this article i read..so how is this for discussion, and in case you didn't know, i m a female, and ready to tell someone a thing or two, and have a few good men back me up..you in?

I'm looking for more specific symptoms of Ovarian Cancer?

I had ovarian cancer last year and I was only 19 yrs old, so it can happen at a young age... I didn't know I had it until it grew so big that it torsed(twisted) so that the blood was still getting pumped into the tumor but had nowhere to exit. Basically it was swelling up with blood every second and I was in so much pain I called 911 and they had to operate to take it out. Apparently it was pretty big and they performed a C-section type operation to get it out... The only sign I had of it looking back are in the few months before the surgery I felt a pressure in that area when I was doing Pilates and was stomach-side down on the floor doing a stretch. I will tell you though that ovary pain is quite normal. I still have a lot of pain in my remaining ovary. It goes with your cycle and sometimes even when you go pee and the pressure is released quickly off of your ovary it can cause some pain, so don't get freaked out that your ovary hurts. Cycles can also vary a bit from month to month, but if you are missing periods, or bleeding when you shouldn't be then something is wrong, however it could be many things besides cancer. At any rate, seeing a gynocologist and getting a CT scan will lay to rest any questions you may have about this. I hope this helps!

If this question is about the Palestinian refugees as it seems to be, then the answer is that your opinion is contested and it ignores the other side of the coin. Now if we're being more general, then you should know that up to the war all Jewish land in Israel was obtained legally and none was "stolen". Last thing, for a country that's supposedly very racist against arabs and supposedly wants to/is commiting acts of genocide, Israel has a rather large Israeli arab population. I'm wondering...I was watching an Eddie Griffin stand-up and he mentioned that that's the reason women live longer than their husbands - it's because they nag them to death. This is not a woman bashing session, I'm just curious... What he was saying (as I paraphrase) was as vindictive as women are, they argue and nag and some I've even come across are just mean and angry for no reason. Eddie Griffin said that the nagging when it causes the man to get angry, he produces GOOD cholesterol because the body thinks it's about to get physical; I'm uming he was referring to fighting, but a good man is not gonna hit his wife! And all men don't find it necessary to argue back, and many don't think to go running or something. So, it just builds and - as Eddie Griffin explained - turns into BAD cholesterol. This is relevant because my dad is 52 and in a marriage where it's been nothing but hardship from her side since the beginning, and all he's tried to do is be a loving husband to her and stepfather to her two sons. She is constantly mad...CONSTANTLY, about nothing...or about everything, but no one would know which because she doesn't talk to my dad unless she's arguing with him. But she doesn't even give herself a chance to argue with him anymore. Now, it's complete silence. My dad's a truck driver, and when he gets home she doesn't even stay in the same room with him. She just seems to always be angry about something. How can you be angry ALL THE TIME!!!???!!!??? She is totally rebellious against him and has caused my stepbrothers to be rebellious against him as well. As I'm the oldest out of four (I have a blood sister), my stepmother I know is causing them to lose respect for me as well. But it's not just me and my dad, she makes everybody in the family's life miserable. Her oldest son, 19, has been ready to move out since he was 13 mainly because of her. Her youngest son, 13, told us he was thinking about suicide less than a year ago because of her. 700 billion dollar victory for the poor?

I am so happy the 700 billion dollar bailout failed. I know this will lead us into a possible depression but i will be just fine. My family can live with my grandpop who's house is paid off. We will find food. I did not want my tax dollars going to bailout people who gamble on wall street. I am 18 weeks pregnant. I was just lying in bed and I just felt kind of strange down in my pelvic region - below my belly on where my uterus is. It was really really hard. It only lasted less than a minute. Right now it is not hard. Is that a BH contraction. I didn't know I could notice them so early. I know they start as early as 6 weeks but most women don't notice them until much later. Possible? If not, why did my uterus do that?

Our house smells like moldy pee after a bad ac filter not cleaned for years, how can I get rid of it?

Is this a valid reason to be stopped by the police?

So, I was pulled over in my boyfriends car this afternoon on the motorway (in UK). The police officer asked whos car it was then asked me to go and sit in the back of his police car as he "wanted to talk to me about the car". He asked me "when you came on at Junction 31 did you cross the double white lines in the middle of the road?" to which I answered no - because I hadnt!! He then said he never saw me do it, he was just asking! He then went on to tell me that it is illegal to cross the white lines and next time I was pulled for such reason I would get 3 points. I, by this point, was confused! He then went on to check that I was insured on the car (I was as I can drive any car under my name). He had already checked and knew that I wasnt covered under my boyfriends insurance. He then told me that if I hadnt been insured then they would have took the car of me. I am now getting more confused. Why is he telling me this when everything is ok? So I then asked him if he pulled me because of the "white line" incident. He said no and that he just wanted to check I was an insured driver, however he went on to tell me then that I was being given a verbal warning and I was lucky to not get 3 points on my licence for driving over white lines, I replied saying I hadnt! He then let me go. Sorry for waffling but it has really annoyed me - arent there murderers and idiot speeders around that he would be better stopping? Maybe I should start driving around with my bum out of the window, he would have had a better reason!! Is this legal for him to do this? And is a verbal warning on a record anywhere?

Is a little bulge in the lower stomach normal?

I have been working out, and I lost a couple pounds, but my lower stomach is still a little bigger than my ribcage. It feels muscular (with a little fat over it) but I can't get it completely flat. Question about steak?

I put a 1 pound ribeye steak in my fridge with marinade about a week and 3 days ago and forgot about it. The marinade included 1 onion, 1/4 olive oil, 4 cloves garlic, 1 tsp of salt, thyme, cayenne pepper, black pepper. The steak is very very soft right now and is brown from the marinade. there is no discoloration and it smells good but thats mainly because the marinade smells good. Now I am wondering do you think it would be a bad idea to eat it at this point? Would the marinade have adequately preserved the steak?

My puppy growls at me how do i get her to stop?

I have a 10 week old Alaskan Malamute and she growls at me. Sometimes it looks like she's playing, sometimes she growls when I tell her off for chewing something she shouldn't or for biting me. I hold her mouth closed when she starts growling or biting but she puts up a fight and wriggles and tries to push my hand away with her paws. When I let go she usually continues to try and bite me. I sometimes push her head to the ground and hold it there to make her stop. Is that ok to do that?
