Without slave labor the colonies would very different. The slaves had a huge impact on the colonies. The slaves learned quick. The slaves also show the colonist new things, like how to grow rice. Crops would have been harder to grow, without slaves. The Africans were strong and had many skills that the servants didn’t have. So it would be different progress in the work between the slaves and the servants. The slaves brought there food and culture to the colonies. Most of the slaves spoke different languages so one social impact was that the slaves had to find a way to communicate not only with other slaves but with there masters as well. Without the slave labor, the colonies would be constructed differently. Like there would be different crops without rice. In conclusion without slave labor the colonies would not have been as well constructed as it was.
