How do I set preset stations on a Bush NE 3160 DAB radio?

I recently bought the above radio second hand the user manual was not with it, but this did not bother me until now. I have spent far too long trying to add stations to the preset channels and have so far failed. As far as I can tell I have used all logical combinations of ons on the radio to store a station as well as loud verbal abuse and even reasoning with the thing, I think at some point my soul was on offer to any Deity willing to help, but it's just not happening. Can anyone help before the radio is launched across the workshop prior to impact deconstruction.
