Fleas and Felines - help me please!?

My vet told me this has been one of the worst years for fleas (in my area anyways). My poor cat no matter what I put on her it only worked for about two weeks. She is an indoor/outdoor cat. Finally I had not choice but to bomb the house and keep her inside. She's still scratching a lot just because the scabs are loosening, and so far I haven't seen any fleas on her. Frontline works better for her. I bombed the house and put Frontline on her the same day.
